GenDEPOT's HiQ Low Melting Agarose is modified to produce lower gelling and melting points and give convenient recovery and purification of DNA from low melting agarose gels. The low melting temperature makes it ideal for preparative DNA and RNA electrophoresis, while its low gelling temperature is ideal for cloning of tissue culture cells and viral plaque assays. Gels exhibit low background fluorescence using EtBr stain.
