ADSL Antibody(Center)
Cat.#: T3470
Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody
Clone ID: polyclonal
Swiss Prot: P30566
Mol Weight: 55kDa
Size: 100ug
Description
Adenylsuccinate lyase is involved in both de novo synthesis of purines and formation of adenosine monophosphate from inosine monophosphate. It catalyzes two reactions in AMP biosynthesis: the removal of a fumarate from succinylaminoimidazole carboxamide (SAICA) ribotide to give aminoimidazole carboxamide ribotide (AICA) and removal of fumarate from adenylosuccinate to give AMP. Adenylosuccinase deficiency results in succinylpurinemic autism, psychomotor retardation, and , in some cases, growth retardation associated with muscle wasting and epilepsy.

Human
Products Data
Western blot analysis of ADSL Antibody (Center) in NCI-H460, Hela, Jurkat cell line lysates (35ug/lane). ADSL (arrow) was detected using the purified Pab.
Formalin-fixed and paraffin-embedded human brain tissue reacted with ADSL Antibody (Center), which was peroxidase-conjugated to the secondary antibody, followed by DAB staining. This data demonstrates the use of this antibody for immunohistochemistry; clinical relevance has not been evaluated.
Specificity
This ADSL antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 174~203 amino acids from the Center region of human ADSL.
Storage Condition and Buffer
Maintain refrigerated at 2-8°C for up to 6 months. For long term storage store at -20°C. Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.
Alternative Names
ADSL antibody, AMPS antibody, ASASE antibody, ASL antibody, Adenylosuccinate lyase antibody, Adenylosuccinase antibody
