For reduced solvent cost and consumption, use industry standard PLgel MiniMIX mixed gel columns in 250 x 4.6 mm narrow bore dimensions. These narrow bore columns offer high performance,xcellent solvent compatibility and mechanical stability. Both PlusPore Narrow Bore and PLgel MiniMIX columns can be used with conventional GPC equipment.To maintain the same linear velocity through the column, the volumetric flow rate must be reduced to 0.3 mL/min in line with the column cross sectional area, resulting in significantly lower solvent consumption. Sample loading should also be scaled downin line with reduced column volume, and system dead volume should be minimized to avoid excessive band broadening
