Key features of TRIzol® LS Reagent:

Total RNA isolated by TRIzol® LS Reagent is free of protein and DNA contamination. It can be used for Northern blot analysis, dot blot hybridization, poly(A)+ selection, in vitro translation, RNase protection assays, RT-PCR, and molecular cloning. For RT-PCR, treatment of the isolated RNA with amplification grade DNase I (Cat. No. 18068-015) is recommended when the two primers View Morelie within a single exon.
TRIzol® LS Reagent is a ready-to-use mono-phasic solution of phenol and guanidine isothiocyanate, designed for the isolation of total RNA from liquid samples of human, animal, plant, yeast, bacterial, and viral origin. During sample homogenization or lysis, TRIzol® LS Reagent maintains the integrity of the RNA, while disrupting cells and dissolving cell components.
