Formulation: Liquid. Antiserum containing 0.01% sodium azide.
Immunogen: Synthetic mammalian sulfated cholecystokinin octapeptide (Asp-Tyr(SO3H)-Met-Gly-Trp-Met-Asp-Phe-OH).
Source/Host: From rabbit.
Specificity: Recognizes human, rat and pig cholecystokinin 8. Immunostaining is abolished by pre-incubation with 10nmol synthetic CCK-8 per ml optimally diluted antibody. The antiserum cross-reacts extensively with other forms of CCK and with gastrins-17 and 34.
