Description
14-3-3 theta belongs to the 14-3-3 family of proteins that mediate signal transduction by binding to phosphoserine-containing proteins. This highly conserved protein family is found in both plants and mammals, and it is 99% identical to the mouse and rat orthologs. 14-3-3 theta is upregulated in patients with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (1).

Flow cytometric analysis of permeablized A549 cells using anti-14-3-3 theta RabMAb (red) (catalog # 3887-1) or a rabbit IgG (negative) (green). 

Specificity
A synthetic peptide corresponding to residues on the N-terminus in human 14-3-3 theta was used as an immunogen.

Storage Condition and Buffer
Store at -20° C. Buffer: 50 mM Tris-Glycine (pH 7.4), 0.15 M NaCl, 40% Glycerol, 0.01% sodium azide and 0.05% BSA. Stable for 12 months from date of receipt.
