The Cage Assembly System provides a convenient way to construct large optomechanical systems with an established line of precision-machined building blocks designed for high flexibility and accurate alignment. Thorlabs continues to expand the scope and capabilities of our popular cage systems, frequently adding new specialized and general-purpose accessories. Listed below are several of our specialized components designed for static mounting of 1" optical components.

The mounts offered below provide means of easy mounting of 1" optical components into our 30mm cage system. The CP02 and CP02T are our most poular 1" mounting plates providing easy means of mounting 1" optical components into a cage syetm. The QRC1A and STK01 allow quick swap and flipping of 1" optics in and out of the cage system. The CP07 and CP07T round plates provide easy means of mounting 1" optics into a cage system and in turn mounting the system into a 2" mount. The CP03 provides a 30mm clear apreture allowing mounting of elements such as 1" tubes into a cage system, and the CP06 provides an easy way to mount and center a 1" mirror into a 30mm cage system.

Compatibility: Thorlabs offers 16mm, 30mm and 60mm cage systems designed for 1/2", 1" and 2" optical components (respectively). The parts on this page are compatible with our 30mm cage system and utilize 6mm ER cage rods. In addition,all parts (except CP03) are compatible with our SM1 Lens Tube threading allowing easy mounting of lens tube components.
