Useful for the study of DNA synthesis where it is incorporated into DNA in place of thymidine. 5-Bromo-2'-deoxyuridine can be used to label DNA. The resulting DNA can be used in conjunction with BrdU Monoclonal Antibody for the immunohistochemical analysis of cell proliferation. |
| 生化机理 | 5-Bromo-2′-deoxyuridine (5-BrdU) is a thymidine analogue which is incorporated into DNA. 5-BrdU is routinely and extensively used to measure DNA synthesis and to label dividing cells. Consequently 5-BrdU is used to study cell signaling and other processes that induce cell proliferation. |
