| Introduction | PDCD12 (AVEN) represents a new class of cell death regulator. PDCD12 is a conserved intracellular membrane protein which blocks apoptosis impeded by Apaf-1 mediated caspase activation. BAD and Bcl-2 also interact with PDCD12 to prevent apoptosis. PDCD12 is expressed in a wide variety of normal tissues including the heart, skeletal muscle, kidney, liver, testis, and also in diseases such as cancer. |

| Applications | PDCD12 antibody has been tested by ELISA, Western blot and immunohistochemistry analysis to assure specificity and reactivity. Since application varies, however, each investigation should be titrated by the reagent to obtain optimal results. Recommended dilution range for Western blot is 1:1,000~1:2,000 and immunohistochemistry analysis is 1:50~100. Recommended starting dilution for Western blot is 1:1,000 and Immunohistochemistry is 1:50. |
