描述: Atrial natriuretic factor (1-28) from both human and porcine sources is a powerful suppressor of pro-opiomelanocortin (POMC) mRNA, while it only has a modest inhibition effect on βEP-LI release.

体外活性: ANF-(1-28) markedly increaseS guanosine 3',5'-cyclic monophosphate (cGMP) from 1.3 +/- 0.3 to 106 +/- 22 pmol cGMP/10(6) cells [50% effective dosage (ED 50 ) = 1.2 nM][1].

体内活性: ANF-(1-28) (0.5 μg/kg/min) infusion attenuates the rise in plasma creatinine levels by approximately 50% on each day of the study[3].
