英文名: Guggulsterone

描述: Guggulsterone (Guggulsterone E&Z) E&Z 是来自Commiphora wightii 树中树胶脂的植物甾醇。 它通过下调抗细胞凋亡基因产物 ，调节细胞周期蛋白，激活caspases，JNK，抑制Akt，抑制多种肿瘤细胞的生长并诱导细胞凋亡。它是法尼醇 X 受体拮抗剂，可降低 CDCA 诱导的 FXR 活化。

体内活性: Guggulsterone E&Z inhibits the growth of a wide variety of tumor cells and induces apoptosis through down regulation of antiapoptotic gene products (IAP1, xIAP, Bfl-1/A1, Bcl-2, cFLIP, and survivin), modulation of cell cycle proteins (cyclin D1 and c-Myc), activation of caspases, inhibition of Akt, and activation of JNK.?Guggulsterone E&Z modulates the expression of gene products involved in metastasis (MMP-9, COX-2, and VEGF) of tumor cells.
