英文名: Mebendazole

描述: Mebendazole (Mebenvet) 是一种 hedgehog 抑制剂，用作驱虫药。

细胞实验: When grown to 40–50% confluence, the cells are exposed to MZ dissolved in DMSO. Cell growth is monitored by counting the viable cells using a hemacytometer.(Only for Reference)

体外活性: Mebendazole（MZ），一种苯并咪唑衍生物，能诱导人类肺癌细胞系出现剂量和时间依赖性的细胞凋落反应。在细胞凋亡开始前，MZ会使细胞在G2-M期停滞。MZ处理还导致线粒体细胞色素c释放，随后引发细胞凋亡死亡。此外，MZ似乎是肿瘤细胞生长的强效抑制剂，对正常的WI38和人脐静脉内皮细胞具有很小的毒性[2]。

体内活性: 口服给予nu/nu小鼠 Mebendazole 后，显著抑制人类肿瘤异种移植物的生长，并在肺转移实验模型中显著减少肿瘤数量和大小。Mebendazole降低了与对照小鼠相比的小鼠血管密度[2]。
