描述: U18666A 是一种细胞渗透性药物，是一种胆固醇合成和转运抑制剂，抑制埃博拉病毒，登革热病毒和人类丙型肝炎病毒的复制。

体外活性: U18666A, the antiviral effect is found to result from retarded viral trafficking in the cholesterol-loaded late endosomes/lysosomes and suppressed de novo sterol biosynthesis in treated infected cells. It is also observed an additive antiviral effect of U18666A with C75, a fatty acid synthase inhibitor [1][2].
