描述: GW 9578 是一种具有选择性和有效性的 PPARα 激动剂 ，具有有效的降脂活性，可用于研究牛皮癣，关节炎，脱发，哮喘和I型糖尿病。

体外活性: GW9578 exhibits activities on Murine PPAR-α, PPAR-γ, and PPAR-δ with EC50s of 0.005, 1.5, and 2.6 μM, respectively. Similarly, it shows activities on Human PPAR-α, PPAR-γ, and PPAR-δ with EC50s of 0.05, 1, and 1.4 μM, respectively[2].In the CD8+ T-cell line TK.1 cells, treatment with GW9578 (10 nM-1 μM for 24 hours) induces a dose-dependent increase in the amount of relative luciferase activity[3].On the other hand, treatment of murine T-cell thymoma EL-4 T cells with GW9578 (10 nM-10 μM for 2 hours) results in a significant decrease in IL-2 production compared to control cells[3].
