英文名: Germacrone

描述: Germacrone 提取自姜黄，具有抗炎、抗雄激素和抗病毒活性。 它还通过促进细胞凋亡来抑制胶质瘤细胞的增殖。

体外活性: Germacrone can inhibit the proliferation of breast cancer cell lines by inducing cell cycle arrest and apoptosis through mitochondria-mediated caspase pathway. Germacrone might be a new potent chemopreventive drug candidate for liver cancer via regulating the expression of proteins related to G2/M cell cycle and apoptosis, and p53 and oxidative damage may play important roles in the inhibition of human hepatoma cells growth by germacrone. Germacrone moderately inhibits CYP2B6 and CYP3A4 activities in vitro, with IC50 values below 10 uM, and produces two oxidized metabolites and four glutathione conjugates.

体内活性: Germacrone 对 H1N1 和 H3N2 流感 A 型病毒以及流感 B 型病毒展现出剂量依赖性的抗病毒活性，能有效保护小鼠免受致死性感染并减少肺部病毒滴度。
