英文名: Ureidopropionic acid

描述: Ureidopropionic acid (3-Ureidopropionic acid) 是尿嘧啶代谢的中间体。更具体地说，它是二氢尿嘧啶的分解产物，由二氢嘧啶酶产生。它通过β -脲丙酸酶进一步分解为β -丙氨酸。尿素丙酸本质上是β -丙氨酸的尿素衍生物。高水平的尿丙酸存在于β -尿丙酸酶(UP)缺乏的个体中。嘧啶代谢中的酶缺乏与抗肿瘤药物5-氟尿嘧啶的严重毒性风险有关。
