描述: α-Terpinene 是存在于多种食品和芳香植物的精油中的一种单萜。它具有杀螨、抗真菌、抗氧化和抗原生动物特性，可研究锥虫病。

体内活性: α-terpinene associated with D.A. can be used as an alternative treatment for T. evansi infection. The compound α-terpinene from M. alternifolia essential oil is the one responsible for the trypanocidal effect, The increased longevity observed on treated mice[1].
