描述: β-Ionone (β-lonone) 是β-类胡萝卜素的端环类似物，广泛存在于水果和蔬菜中，可有效诱导胃腺癌细胞 SGC7901 凋亡，具有抗增殖、抗转移和抗肿瘤作用。

体内活性: β-ionone-based compounds possessing anti-proliferative, anti-metastatic and apoptosis induction activities may enable the discovery of compounds which can be used in combination regimes thus overcoming tumor resistance to conventional anticancer agents[1]
