描述: HALOFUGINONE LACTATE 是 febrifugine 的卤化衍生物，它是一种天然的含有喹唑啉酮的化合物，存在于中草药 D. febrifuga 中。Halofuginone 以 ATP 依赖性方式抑制脯氨酰-tRNA 合成酶，Ki 为 18.3 nM。 Halofuginone 是 I 型胶原合成的特异性抑制剂，通过抑制 TGF-β 活性来减轻骨关节炎 (OA)

体外活性: halofuginone (HF), a widely studied derivative of febrifugine, inhibits the development of T(H)17-driven autoimmunity in a mouse model of multiple sclerosis by activating the amino acid response (AAR) pathway.?HF binds glutamyl-prolyl-tRNA synthetase (EPRS), inhibiting prolyl-tRNA synthetase activity;?this inhibition is reversed by the addition of exogenous proline or EPRS[1].
